it makes me sad about the reduction in radius of the coil, it used to be 5 now is "about" 4 meters? hardly enough space to capture two people doing a fight scene. I hope I'm wrong about this.

When do you want to add hand track to Rokoko Vision or single camera?

Well, a 4 meter radius is cute but considering the typical use cases for a Mocap suit it only covers a very limited range. Of course as an addition to face capture it is great, but for any reasonable action it is woefully inadequate. I hoped for at least 10m. That would at least allow it to be used for a proper movie shoot without serious action (for that it should have like 20+). Can these be chained for larger coverage? For a movie shoot cost is not going to be a serious impediment. Of course setting 16 of these up above a set each day would be quite the headache (especially if it has to be precise).

something im not sure if its even possible... but if you were to have 2 coils, could you use them as lighthouses and use one for the gloves, and a second for maybe your feet, or your hip for even more accuracy? sorry, this might show how little I understand at how it actually works :)

The Coil Pro connects specifically with the gloves using EMF technology, so using multiple Coils as lighthouses to enhance accuracy for other parts of the body, like your feet or hips, isn't currently possible. I just got this in the mail, and i think I misunderstood the reason for buying this coil. It only works with gloves according to this video. So that means the suit itself is still prone to all the drift and other issues 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I am curious, if an actor sits at a table and swings his hanging legs, will the actor drift? I hope Coil Pro can solve drift situations when standing inverted or in other pose where both feet are not on the ground.

Why use a usb3 plug with a none standard power output, surely it's an accident waiting to happen. A laptop style power plug would be more appropriate.

Yeah, I saw that and thought it was pretty sad, why not use a barrel jack or something else similar. Considering it's size and price a screw locking barrel jack or other locking connector would've been more appropriate as a professional device. And if they're using USB C, use USB PD so that the power supply can be exchanged with any of the hundreds of USB C laptop chargers out there, and it won't kill other equipment by complete disregard for the USB C spec

The justification is, companies can get a lot of funding and buy this.

They spent so much time (and money) on R&D for this, to try to give us low budget indies an option for absolute position. I think it’s great that they make this! It took me a long time to save up $ (since the launch) but just finally purchased.
