I have Directv and have a new pro Roku clicker. When I use the voice remote ask Roku to play ESPN. It will go to Home Screen and tell me to grab the actual app but I want espn with my directv stream app or Hulu or Sling. So basically I can ask Roku to play espn on directv app and no dice. I can’t figure it out. If it can’t be done then what the point of a voice remote when it makes one download an actual app like ESPN in order for it to work? If I’m in error, please advise bc with a voice remote that takes inside a steaming app is worthless if I actually need to manually change to which channel I want after Tge remote gets me inside DTV, Hulu, Sling etc.

I have had the Voice remote pro for 3 weeks. It has a rechargeable battery which is supposed to be good for months. I have had to recharge twice in that time period. What is the problem?

last about 2 and half or 3 months. that's if you're not using the headphone jack alot. that drains the battery a little bit. yep!

Avoid this device like the plague. There is no ability to power cycle it other than a software sequence of button pushing, and we all know s/w works 100% of the time, right? If the device locks up and refuses to pair with your roku, even after working fine for weeks, maybe it runs out of power (months off a charge is a joke, you're lucky to get 2 weeks) and the device looses pairing, you'll never get it to pair again. As there is no mechanical power cycle ability, you're stuck with a $30+ piece of plastic. No amount of button sequence pushing will bring the device back to working, the programmers and designers have made sure of that. So do not buy.

Wow, has anyone else had this experience? I just received mine today and haven't even tried to pair it yet. I don't even know what that means as my simple Roku remotes just turn on with the power button.
