Fantastic demo's of the tr-8s now the serious stuff of combining instruments. Mind you, you always make one instrument sound like a quartet and multiple instruments sound clean and simple. When it takes a good ear and sometimes bloody hard work. Thanks for the video. Cheers.

Cool! I have a Jp-08 w/K-25 and a TR-8S and would like to get a stand like that. Did you make it yourself Carl?
@h-dawg9696 ай бұрын
What stand is the boutique on? & can u tell me how ‘deep’ it is for desk space going from the tr8s edge closest to you, to the back leg on the boutique stand? I have 2 boutiques and a tr8s and could do with arranging the desk space better. At the moment the tr8s is on laptop stand above the boutiques. It does the job but could be much more practical and make better use of the space. Cheers

Hello... Im looking some versatile under techno machines ( Around 2, 3 or 4 as much ). I'm trying to make DETROIT - BERLIN live performances and am thinking about: [ TR8S or MC 707 + MX1 + SY1 + ANY TABLETOP MODULAR SYNTH/S ]. What do you recommend me ? Thanks for your time. We're in touch! Best, Patrick.

Great stuff! I love EBM! One question about step seq in SH-01A - how many steps need to be entered on SH to match a 4 bar pattern on another machine when im syncing things up?
@floriantwitt21336 жыл бұрын
64. 1 bar has 16 steps :)
@NeoLudditevisons6 жыл бұрын
Florian Twitt hi there yeah let elaborate: if you input 16 step its seems to go out of sync quite easy not match. So for 1 bar is it 17 steps entered to match. Or for 4 bar pattern 65 steps. Its a pure melt to work out so just looking for some clarity

Definitely sounds more Industrial then Techno but regardless it’s sounds great.

Very much in the realm of Nitzer Ebb and Front 242. I'd say EBM, not techno. Very good though.

How did you change the sequence on the SH at 0:48? Looks like you didnt touch anything. Is it just one really long sequence?
@JonathanRCross5 жыл бұрын
I think it only comes in at 0:48 - the knob being tweaked on the TR8s at that point is the Ext-In volume, which he turns from 0 to full at that point, and that's when the SH-01A then comes in.

Without knowing it, you've tortured me here. I have the TR-8, which I have loved and cherished for a couple years now. I have wanted nothing more than to ditch it for the TR-8S since it was released. Before I was aware of the 8S, the boutique model I really wanted (want) most is the SH-01A. I've been having dreams of playing the 8S and 01A..... and now they have materialized in the form of your KZbin video..... I assume for the sole purpose of torturing me. Why did you have to be good at playing them on top of the punishment?
