I purchased a Gaia 3 weeks ago and for me it was the best investment for my studio. Very Nice demo Dan btw. :)

Nice job.. wish more people would put videos like this of the Gaia in action vs the typical 'soundbank tour' most videos seem to offer.

Hey thanks! I use the Sonar X1 producer which is full of soft synths such as Zeta 2 and Rapture (stunning!). Most of this is the Gaia multitracked but some of it is Native Instruments Massive and Absynth. The best thing to do is get creating your own patches! It's not healthy to stick with the factory presets :-)

They are both unique in they're own rights! I would not say no to a Gaia or an Ultranova. The Gaia is perfect for a wide variety of sounds but I find the Ultranova is for a handful of genres like Dubstep, Trance...
@Dan_ClarkeMusic12 жыл бұрын
Hi Mate, thanks! I tried the novation and it seems a bit of a lazy mans tool compared to the Gaia. The Ultranova is a pure dub step machine. So if you are into that stuff i'd go for it. But the Gaia is just pure virtual analogue synthesis at it's best. An all rounder! I love the fact it can be powered by batteries too! Making music in the garden rocks :D

Amazing, that's make me want to bought one... Can we learn with the Gaia ?
@omaralnajm12 жыл бұрын
great track, are the sounds from the sonar? does SONAR have Softsynth? cause I own a GAIA too & I've never heard these sounds or patches before even from the Luftrum sound bank. THNX!
@barstuard12 жыл бұрын
Very good, sir. Bravo. Is it easy to integrate this within a predominantly software setup? IE, record sounds from the synthesizer in to your DAW (say ableton live) and then switch and use this simply as a midi controller keyboard to control soft synths (such as massive or operator within ableton)?
@omgnocapslock11 жыл бұрын
@Alex: He clearly stated in the description that he used Sonar.

can you connect the gaia to other plugins for example can it connect to say sylenth1 and play the presests from that plugin? and or you can edit the preset sound physically with the gaia? please reply

Dude, this is amazing! i just bought this synth and i love it, how did you put all this together?
@Dan_ClarkeMusic12 жыл бұрын
Hi, as there is Midi out and USB midi on the Gaia, it can connect to any DAW/VSTI
