I'm up there in same age bracket as you and live now on Hawaii, this clip makes me think of the days in New Jersey shore playing cool music in Atlantic city pre gambling. @@Boombah49 Just found this, very nice. I'm about to buy a handsonic. My 1st love old skool jazz. Traps, but I'm also Latin percussion player. Getting up there in years and tired schlepping 3 heavy Gon Bop original congas, and all the other toys. This will make my life easier.

This beats lugging a trap kit around . . . thanks for posting this. I'm giving this unit a look but haven't pull the trigger yet. Price is still pretty steep considering how old the unit is now.

DrRussPhd I know, I had the first generation Handsonic for quite a few years. I got this one when they first came out, and it’s been rock solid. I am waiting for an upgrade, although I highly recommend this unit.

That’s classy as Funk!!! I’m extremely surprised a drummer that old is embracing technology like the hand sonic, he is killing by the way. I am dying to get an HPD-20 pad now. It even has bass drum and hihat foot controller!!!!! These damn things are expensive, hopefully can find one used

I'm using a porchboard for my kick pedal, running separate from the Handsonic. My hi hat and regular bass drum are trigger pedals running out of the unit.
