This is the best demo of this kit I've seen here - knows the kit and how to play it. I'm still hesitating about buying this but this is a very good sales pitch!
@garycitro16743 жыл бұрын
I just got one of these cheaply, and boy do I love your playing. You really know how to use all of those sounds tastefully. As I am mainly a keyboard player, I really don't feel a need to do anymore than what you did if I could ever get to that level. Some of these new virtual kits have 200 drum sets, but if you know how to use 10 like you do, you should get by just fine.

I just purchased a Simmons SD600 and am returning it. It sounds like garbage compared to my Roland

Thanks for the video. You did a great job of introducing the kit and it's different voices.

Great demo, thanks for showing this, man. I'm considering this kit due to the compact size and simplicity for a novice, non-drummer like me! The sounds are pretty good, to my ears.

@Tulljfette I dunno, I think it could still do with more cowbell.
@HereIsmarcus11 жыл бұрын
It doesn't come with any kind of case. I put the symbols , snare and floor tom in a little pack pack. The rest I put in a little trolley that people here in Spain use for shopping. Most people live in flats so they need a shopping trolley to move groceries. It's 23 x 60 x 40cm and has two wheels. The rods and remaining drums and pedals go in there no problem. I love these drums. Thanks.

Have heard about these for a long time but 1st time hearing these and am amazed! does the sound come thru the headphones ?? if so how can you playing along with something that needs headphones?
@Jcbproducoes13 жыл бұрын
you can actually change the sound of the metronome by running it and then hold any of the numbers from 1 to 5 and hold the variation st the same time, wait about 3 seconds release, restart the metronome and you have another sound there

Although I will say the idea of having an all in one e drumkit is a good one easy to transport easy to set up and the sounds are very goof
@Superhamsterofdoom12 жыл бұрын
You can not change the sounds in the module. I'm sure what you mean is to use a VST like Superior Drummer and map the triggers through MIDI.

The metal mode is awesome mostly because of the double bass, but the worst thing about the whole kit is the cowbell. Who in his right mind would do that? The cowbell doesn't belong in a metal kit. Seriously, if I find the one that had this idea, I would beat his ass with a real cowbell. It's really fucking stupid to replace the tom 2 with it.
@Subilon12 жыл бұрын
@southsaturndelta220 to be honest my opinion is that e kits only simulate acoustic drums but can never substitute for the feel of an acoustic kit I have both and I enjoy playing both but approaching them for what they are not what I want them to be hope that helps
@willifordmike5310 жыл бұрын
Nice sound, Great drumming! I have an HD 1 and my number 1 kit is not a Rock on either setting? Also I find the potentiometer bass drum set-up really unresponsive but your kit seems to sound much better, my kit is quite used though.

Why do you need more drumsounds in order to advance? Isn't the kit itself, the pads en the snare and the toms and cymbals, the most important?
@MrDpahls113 жыл бұрын

Alguém poderia me ajudar ?

The Latin sounds in the toms sound like timbales and bongo
@ijosef13 жыл бұрын
@tasfa10 I agree. Perhaps Roland will come out with an updated module for this kit in the future. I could see all three toms available on the double bass kit (which is much more sensible than a cowbell) and a loosely closed hi-hat, similar to what you'd get if you hit a drop clutch and the top hat was just resting on the bottom hat. It would also be nice to have some basic editing ability so you could come up with custom kits. Sometimes you don't want the change in voice due to velocity.
@dmgsoultogetherness6667Ай бұрын
literally would only use the mesh snare and the module as an add on to acoustic kit....

im not sure but you cannot do it over the module....only over the computer

Hi John. Does this electronic drum kit let you record sounds on the computer, and then play that sound in the tom? ... e.g. Recording a dog's bark, then play that dog bark on the crash of the e. drum. Well, thanks you. XOXO Franck.

I would consider this kit if it was in the $300-$400 range. No way would I pay $1,000. This kits seems to me like the TD-4's little sister. Like the TD-4, you don't get many sounds (kits). Out of the ones you do get, many are just stupid, e.g., beat box sounds, world perc sounds, etc. Instead of buying this limited kit, go on eBay or Craigslist, go and purchase a used TD-6 V2 or TD-9, trigger up your acoustic kit, add some mesh heads, and enjoy a VAST amount of editing options and sounds.
