One of the most underrated synths ever. I understand after several years, I bought a virtual analogue synth, and I tell you , I was a bit disappointed vs, Yamaha of it's time. However, this synth packs an unbelievable potential, I simply am very happy to own one. Cheers for the demo, one of the best i have seeen

@hyogen82 I can't make a new recording/video, because i had the JP8000 only for a few of days in my studio. I programmed the sounds from scratch by hands on the JP8000. I used Emagic Logic for recording each sequences as stereo audiofile, and arranged then to a short demosong. There is no external help like plugins, effects or another synths, all pure from JP8000.

I had a JP 8080. Didn't like the filter on the JP. Although it can produce some nice sounds it misses warmth. Nice demo btw.

@DrSqu This is a great piece, you should be very proud. Also people somehow forget the power of sequencing, they try and produce similar tracks with complex sounds and they fail, so in despair they put away their synth..

Nice Demo.What I like about the JP is it sends midi from the arp so you can record the notes into a sequencer and route them back.Very easy to use and has many patches on the web to download.Got mine local for $500 off gumtree.I have read that the SH-201 was a descendent from the JP but from my opinion the JP kicks butt out of the SH-201 which died on me a year ago!.check out 'Annihilation' on my channel all of the sounds are JP except 'aquestone' vst and Nerve drums ...happy Synther!

No, I recordet stereo audiotracks. Just mixed in a DAW, means without add of software EQ/FX, layered pure JP8000.
