How does the LFO Sample & Hold Wave for stack up against the Oberheim OB6? They seem kinda similar to me, but I have used them on this synth. I love that option in the Oberheim, unfortunately I can’t afford an OB6. Please advise. Thanks.

Having Ju06a I must say that it is great for mid-range arpeggios, pads, BUT basses are noticeably weak.. anyway it is quite descent synth.

Ok so I’m real new to all this stuff what is the 4 voices limitation thing everybody talks about and mentions but never actually explains it? Iv got an analogue mono synth take it that’s just one voice? Wanting to step farther out from that and try something digital and enjoy the classic sounds of the JUNOs. Great vid btw x

Claire Campbell It means you only can play 4 notes at the same time. The original Juno 106 and Juno 60 had 6 voices

If you remove the reverb and delay then you get very close to the OG, I wasnt impressed with any of the presets in this, the Juno 106 presets were much better. If you recreate the standard Juno 60 patches of the OG and just stick with chorus I doubt you would be able to tell the difference for the majority of the sounds, the OG is going to be a bit better on the low end but what I found was that the emulation can sound more pleasing on a lot of sounds, cleaner and a bit more presence but you can degrade the sound quality to match the OG by adding hiss and using the vintage setting. The cloud vst of the 106 and 60 can sound even better and you can get the full poly, Roland did an excellent job with these.

a digital remake with only four voices and tiny controllers over price! nothing wrong with digital love dx fm sample playback and modeling but digital is digital and can’t replicate an analog filter turn up the resonance bring up the pwm does it still sound warm?
