Roland Juno DS-61 Issue

I’ve been having this intermittent issue with my synth since I bought it brand new 2 years ago during the pandemic. While I’m just regular Patch mode after initial power on, I start to play individual keys and some keys sound like they have multiple notes played in addition to the note I am depressing on keyboard. Anyone have any insight? Firmware is up to date with V 2.11. No other cables are connected other than 1/4” output to Roland keyboard amp. No MIDI cable, nothing. HELP!!!!

Hold down the shift button and push the numeric button, and see if the preview of the patch it is on, plays normally. Try playing one of the two onboard demos. If those work ok, then try a factory reset and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, then I guess email Roland to find a repair center. Sorry you are having problems with your Juno DS.

Tried a factory reset multiple times. Issue remained intermittent.

@@geauxcat A power conditioner solved the problem, that's great! I wonder if you got a flaky power supply when you got it. They can cause all sorts of problems. But glad is it finally working well for you now!

I think the keyboard exposure to moisture. . I fix this many times

Unit was brand new and used inside. Never exposed to moisture.

As of July 2024, the issue has not returned. I bought a Furman Power Conditioner and connected the power cord to it. SInce then, it has been working fine. My only assumption is that I was getting irregular voltage from my outlet on occasion, which is why the issue was intermittent. Once I connected the Furman Power Conditioner, I have not had the issue again!
