Take Pulsation or Scars instead of Urging if it gives you the option. Preferably Pulsation
Don't use Collision like I did. Even if it did hit a counter die (and restore light on clash win) it would still be net -2 light because Lies set its cost to 3 instead of not 3. I got lucky with Lies the two turns after; would have lost without that to save me
Brawl has 4 offensive dice with minroll 3+2+3+3 = 11. 3 (Lone Fixer) + 3 (Observe) + 1 (Fervor) + 1 (High Level Acrobatics) = 8 power. 11 + 8 * 4 = 43. Great Split Horizontal maxroll = 42 + 2 (Manifest Ego) + 1 (from enemyside abno card) - 3 (paralysis) = 42 which is less than 43

Either we give Kali Bind and subsequently access to possibly all her dice being infinite, or some extra block power. It's still a bit of a challenging choice, due to the fact you can starve her of light, making those infinite dice worthless and deal some extra Stagger dmg too, but Blood can give your Blocks and Evades more power to contest her rolls.

I think the logic that with that little stagger resist you'd have to reset anyways if you took basically any stagger damage at all so there wasn't much of a point holding back

Blood boosts defensive dice power, and evade dice restore stagger. Arguably the best choice possible.

Observe's only purpose is to set up the GSH turn, and the card rolls too weak in order to justify using it at any other time. If Red Mist doesn't GSH this turn, she'll GSH next turn, and without Observe she has a reasonable chance to outroll Brawl. See the description of the video for calcs.

Dose Roland stay playable for most of the game. And dose he get a unique move set?

He's playable in all receptions except for his boss fight which is pretty late in the game (and you're forced to use a diff librarian). For the unique moveset, you get it after Hana association I believe. ( I'm still in star of the city lol)
