Awesome vid! One of the better MC 707 vids I've seen so far!

Awesome set up! May I ask how do i assign my td3 to a fader, it's killing me! Not record it but just play it live on a fader with effects. Cheers!
@milanwulf4 жыл бұрын
Hello Luke Hunter, sorry for the late reply. It's not possible, as far as I know, to assign the audio signal to a fader, however, you can tell any track to send Midi. Instead of the fader you can either use the volume control on your connected device or the input control on the MC707. I'm not sure if it's possible to use effects on the MC707 for the audio input, I think only the master effect has an influence on it.

If you have problems with the Midi setup, let me know!

It's definitely possible: if you want to use fader and fx of the mc707 for an external instrument, plug it into the "return" instead of the ext in, and set set the track you want as send.

@@testbildmuc Roland updatet the firmware and now you can use the external input and return jacks! Very nice! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIGchHSjmc6fjsU

nice bro... i think id rather get an Mpc one
@milanwulf5 жыл бұрын
The mpc one also looks very nice, I would like to have one too, but first the MC 707 must be used more :D

@@milanwulf does the 707 have key mode or chords?
@milanwulf5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, she has both, just not an arpeggiator. But I'm sure it will come with a software update. Also the synthesizer engine is really good and offers a lot of tweaking Options.

Do u send midi from 707 to model D?
@milanwulf5 жыл бұрын
Yes! I use Track 8 to send midi to the Model D, this also works when the fader is down. :)

Nice live jam! How do you like the MC-707?

I am very enthusiastic about the machine, because everything seems very intuitive to me. Nevertheless I hope that some updates will add some new features, I would be very happy if there was the possibility to sample for more than 1 minute, also it would be great if you could change projects without stopping the current track (similar to the Novation Circuit). These are both things that may not be technically feasible, but at least it should be possible to send the signal from each track individually to the send/return via a send knob that you can assign via "Knob Assign".

@@milanwulf i am with you. i love the machine so far but a few little more tweaks in the os are needed to make it perfect. soundwise its all i ever wanted xD all roland classics and new sounds in one machine.

Absolutely loving this. I'm looking at getting a groove box. Possibly the 707. I'm just wondering how much of this track was the Roland and how much was the Behringer? Also, do you have a DL link for this track? Cheers.
@milanwulf5 жыл бұрын
I would say about 90% are made with the Mc707. There is no download link yet, because I didn't think people would ask for it, but I could upload it to Soundcloud If you like :)

Great jam! I am just curious, did you still do post-processing on the audio after recording on the H5? Thanks!
@milanwulf5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I used a light compressor, but nothing else. I'm thinking about buying a hardware compressor.
@manfrombkk5 жыл бұрын
Milan Wulf what hardware compressor would you choose.

Because of the form factor, I find the Electro Harmonix Platform and FMR Audio RNC 1773 very interesting. But I'm not sure if the Electro Harmonix can handle line level (-10db) or if it was built for HiZ (+4db) guitar signals only.
