Sehr empfehlenswert.

Is the edge doing the synth or drums ?
@milanwulf3 ай бұрын
The edge makes the percussive synthesizer sound that can be heard at the beginning.

You didn't cover Return tracks. You can set tracks to Sends Only, use the Sends to send them to a Return track, then set the Return track to any output. Since most people will have several tracks going to a stereo pair, you can Group those tracks and just send the group's master track to the Return track. You can do sub-master processing on the group master track as well. If you want to be sure it never gets sent to other Return tracks, disable the other Sends.

Can you explain me the links between machines?
@milanwulf Жыл бұрын
Sure! MIDI Setup: Ableton provides the master clock and sends the signal to the Behringer Edge, and the Edge sends the clock signal to the Eowave Quadrantid Swarm via standard midi cable. The Akai keyboard is connected to my computer via USB, and I mapped the pads to launch the drums in Ableton Live. Audio Setup: The Edge's VCA output goes via a 3.5mm-to-6.3mm mono cable into the Zoom MS-70 CDR, where I added some reverb effects; the signal then goes via two 6.3mm cables into my Focusrite 6i6 audio interface in stereo. The Swarm is connected directly to the front of my audio interface via a 6.3mm mono cable. CV Adjustment: I used the Edge's velocity output to control the modulation of the Swarm's second cutoff filter. That's it :)

Tight jam 👌 With some nice toys again …are you working on any new stuff mate ?
@milanwulf2 жыл бұрын
I would like to do something new, but at the moment I have a lot of work and studies to deal with. But I am experimenting with an iPad and a app called Drambo. Maybe I'll make a video about it when I find the time. I am trying to make my rig smaller and more portable (battery operated if possible), I changed the Mackie mixer against a 1010music Bluebox for example. I also wanted to do something with Eurorack and already built my own case, but then I realised how expensive and time-consuming modular stuff is.

Thanks for the useful trick ! But is there any chance i can listen a track in "solo" without having to select "solo" too on the new master output track ?
@thiloilg Жыл бұрын
Make a Group on the master track, add the external audio effect and route the output to one of your monitors. Add another channel and let it pass through with no effects for the master. This wont effect the soloing but also keeps your master clean for bouncing. You can also add SoundID Reference effects for each monitor created this way to get a more realistic and flat sound. I hope this helps.
