When listening to the Roland MT-32, I can't help but notice that its sounds immediately take me back to the era of video games from the '80s and '90s, characterized by what we might today consider rudimentary or limited in terms of expressiveness and harmonic depth. This leads me to think that, although it undeniably has its nostalgic charm and historical value in the context of electronic musical instrument development, the MT-32 seems to struggle to find its place in modern musical contexts that demand a wider and more detailed sound range.

How do you connect mt32 to your keyboard? I have my mt32 but I have no idea how to connect it into my keyboard.

sounds dope as hell its like CD quality music but not CD quality music at the same time, most certainly something i need to add to my music gear collection (which so far only consists of a yamaha pss-270) in the future.

Made one song on this unit. After that, it became useless; Couldn’t manipulate anything. I ended up hating it and got rid of it. However, I did this with many pieces of gear that I wish that I had hung onto….the Microwave I and II, and two versions of the Emulators, to be specific.
