Thanks for sharing. I know that this post is now three years old but I need to correct your work flow for setting the recording. When using then SENS button that will only set the INPUT SENSITIVITY and NOT the RECORD LEVEL. Upon initiating/touching the AUTO SENS in the display It will automatically set the INPUT SENSITIVITY and then before you hit “enter” take note of the suggested RECORD level and then adjust the circular channel INPUT knob to 58 in the case of your dynamic Mic example and the hit “OK”. Here is an extract from the manual of “How input sensitivity and input level are related”. “Input sensitivity adjusts the LOUDNESS of the input signal being received as the recording SOURCE. INPUT level is an ADDITIONAL fine adjustment applied to the signal AFTER it’s been adjusted by INPUT SENSITIVITY, in order to optimise it for recording. Clear as mud?? :) Hope this helps.

Could you please help me solve the "File System Error". Even while trying to format the SD card, there is this error. Tried different Cards.

Never had such problem but....... Only use name brand cards that are the right specification..... check on Roland's website for compatibility...... And don't format the cards on a computer, only format in the recorder. Could be you have formatted the card on a computer in something other than FAT32....... put the card in a reader and verify it is formatted as FAT32.
