I am 48 yrs old, and I still occasionally hums that melody for myself.. Had completely forgotten where it was from. Then suddenly, half an hour ago I stopped while making food, and had the name "Roland's Rat Race" in my mind.. Don't know where it suddenly came to me from..

It's made by Martin Galway and basically all the music he did for the C64 back in the mid 80s was pure gold! I Even had it recorded to tapes so I could listen to it anywhere. Things were different back then though, and music from games was very much frowned upon.. Most people were like, how can you listen to that it's not even real music?! It's funny cos nowadays chiptunes are considered cool and are liked by almost everybody!

The high score table has Tony & Dave at the top of it, and the game is credited to Dave Collier but the game graphics have a Tony Crowther look about them...

Loved this game, but never played it and won. I should go back and give it a go. Fun music... I'm gonna go load it up and shake my butt to it now... thanks for sharing.
