Thank you so much for making a *musical* demo. Not everyone does that, and you made a lot of fantastic sounds.

One of the best synth demos I've ever seen/heard on youtube! Part 1 - depeche moroder.. part 2 Jarre-werk workshop. :)

Soundwise I think this is Roland's best vintage monosynth. I just got a JP-4 (first revision) and I'm hoping to coax some similar sounds from it. I believe the architecture is quite similar, once you get past the digital control.

Maybe I listen to your examples of synthesizer sound not because of synthesizer sound but rather because you are a talented musician)))

The Roland sound is like Mozart. Very easy sounding but puts a smile on your face when you hear it. Moog is more like Beethoven.

These are by far the best synthesizer demos I have ever heard. Matthias Becker and Chris Hülsbeck are absolute amateurs against the man behind Synthetic Machines. If his demos have such an amazing quality I can't imagine how fantastic his commercial work must be. Are there any infos about his commercial releases?

You wrote: "Matthias Becker and Chris Hülsbeck are absolute amateurs against the man behind Synthetic Machines" It's a great set of performances. No need to insult others to build up this channel, though. Not sure why people always think they need to stack rank musicians.

@@Psychlist1972 it's simple! Because music is all about feelings and emotions. Synthetic Machine's music sounds very emotional and beautiful. Matthias Becker's demos have been made exclusively for nerds!

I regret that I sold my SH-2. At least I still have SH-1 & MKS-80.

If it's any consolation, I had the chance to buy an SH-2 in excellent condition a few years ago at a reasonable price and didn't think it a significant improvement over my SH-1 and so ended up not buying it. . . actually, I think it's probably myself I'm trying to conVince (Clarke) that I didn't make a huge error in judgement!

If Behringer would make a clone of this bad boy...... i'd buy it in a heartbeat.
@MisAnnThorpe2 жыл бұрын
It's unimaginable to me that they aren't planning on doing so. I mean, they've already cloned as unlikely synths as The Wasp and Octave Cat. The SH-2 would seem like a very obvious move and I'm sure would sell in large numbers.
