Well Yes, it SEEMS to be a nice sounding piano. The only real problem is that everytime the girl in this video starts to play something pretty, the narrator won't shut his mouth. It would actually be nice for Roland to produce some videos that just feature a good pianist playing some really nice music on it while EVERYONE ELSE shuts up and lets the piano speak for itself.HEY ROLAND!! Supernatural Piano has good sounds... compare to others, sound's reality is not the best, but this is very beautiful and useful sounds. I hope I'll be able to use vst of supernatural. ZENOLOGY has some pianos SOUNDS LIKE supernatural, but I wanna use supernatural sounds on my DAW.

Some of the hp series, I have an HP 307. It came out around 2010. But the newer Rolands don't seem to have quite as nice a sound since they've gone from sound sampling to sound modelling.

Sound modeling uses baseline samples to0. With other brands you hear only one of a select few pre recorded samples depending on how hard you hit a key. The superNATURAL engine can theoretically generate an infinite number of textures for a note by calculating from baseline values.

I have the RD-64 on which Roland claims a 'super natural', 'ivory feel' keyboard. However, the keys are very plasticky and the 'ivory' is not ivory at all. Also if you hit the keys with tip of the fingers the feel and also the sound is very plasticky and way too glossy (compared to kawai kontroller for exmple)

it is the allegro de concierto by enrique granados. best recording ever by alicia de larocha, in my opinion. It is rather difficult to play, though.

@@53clanthee The Chopin Prelude Op.28 No.20 in C Minor doesn't have the fast parts that play from 3:10 onwards. I think it's the Allegro De Concierto by Enrique Granados.

I tested the Roland fp140r is was way more Natural than the Yamaha ydp 163 that one was a big dissapointment in real life

yes, cause yamaha 163 does not have sound modeling, it only uses samples. I've tested roland fp140r myself and didn't quite like the sound, roland hp504 is better! and probably 400 series as well, didn't get to try them, but even rp102 is better in sound and keyboard than fp140r

Marina Lobanova the rp102 has very tiny sound because of only 6 watt speakers. Was about to buy that one until i tested it. I liked the f140r the best in the price range overall

yes, for rp102 one would need to connect external speakers or headphones. Roland saved a lot of money on speakers and body materials with this piano, but they put a good keyboard there! from 500 series, as well as the sound chip, i think, cause in headphones it sounds like 504, and fp140 unfortunately does not sound like 504, but has a very nice design.. But sound is subjective anyway :) enjoy your piano!!

Yamaha’s Samples are ridiculously bad until you get to the Clavinova range. You can compare them to any other name brand and they don’t hold up well... I’m really baffled as to how they sell so well.
