The TB-3 is super awesome...I absolutely love mine. Gets a lot of hate because of its look, but I think these might get more popular as time passes. The randomizer is pretty fun.

Another winner by Roland

This seems to be a trend. Roland tends to make a lot of gear that gets panned early on but eventually ends up being regarded as some of the best gear on the market. Even the venerable TB-303 was originally hated before people found out that you could make it sing by cranking up the resonance.

This thing can make crazy dark drones and modulated perc kicks like a mini self contained modular. It kicks ass of monos 3x the price

I really like the TB-3, maybe because I do not see and use it as a 303 replacement. It can do things that a 303 can't do and that's where it really shines. It can't properly do what a TB-303 does, too. That will only yield cheesy and cringe results, hence I just use a TB-303 if I want THAT sound and groove.

Yep, just got one - wish i'd bitten the bullet and gotten it new when it came out! Would have saved me from a lot of other gear lust TBH - if it can't keep up with the TB-3, u don't need it! :)

is this thing actually analog or is it Rolands ABC Analog Behavioural Circuitry?...
@KUSHGRAM24 күн бұрын
yes the TB3 it's a digital synth with the ACB by roland (analogue circuit behaviour).
@totalSLACK24 күн бұрын
@KUSHGRAM thas a shame. it's so weird, because if they're using that in all their gear now, why would someone buy this when you can program the same sound on a TR8S?

@@andrewbrown443 I heard something about this. Something about the tb3's sequencer besides being versatile and dead simple has some unique Idiocracies that make it a great midi sequencer for other gear...🤷🏻♂️
