Roland TR8S, TR6S, T8. Which is best for iPad?

Was wondering about this so cheers for pointing it out. 🤛 Searched for ages trying to figure out the best interface for ipad & landed on an RME. Very very happy with it!

@@krazywabbit cheers. Best thing about rme apart from sounding great is they support their products for decades. Can record straight to usb to! Would really like to add a tr8s at some point!

I been asking Roland on every forum to give us class compliance on TR8s, so frustrating!

I would expect the same class compliance as with sp404mk2.

I would suggest the CME line of WIDI Bluetooth devices, I should be getting hooked up by them for all the times I have recommended these things but they are extremely reliable, stable and troublefree wireless connections. I bought one and it was my favorite purchase of that year. The one I got was the midi plugs and the little blue box that has a strong magnet and sticks to the back of my device and blinks a blue pulse as it sends a signal somit doubles as a visual check to make surenI have midi going out via Bluetooth.

Seems so disjointed how some of their products have just completely different levels of connectivity and features ,like they evolved on separate planets!!!! Maybe they had an idea with this at some point but my golly…. Just gotta voice that I agree with the Wabbit. I think they should have a similar approach where everything nis seen by the ipad and be plug n play. Seems like they are backwards, I would want the tr8s connected with my ipad and really working well with it, I would be disappointed if it did not. But the SP404mk2 has spoiled me. Now I know what they can do.
