I just got one of these. I love that it’s as small as the E-mu rack units. But the sounds are sooooo much better than the sounds in the all the E-mu modules. And the chrome looks so much better than the XV-5080.

This is excellent, and I would like to include it scattered throughout my music. It has a lot of tones that I just feel like I want, and this size is great, too! I'm also very excited to see what the Proteus 2000 from E-mu sounds like now that it's in stock.

Does the 5080 have the same sounds as the Xv5050 ? I had a Xv5050 back in the day .
