I really love the way you teach. Reminds me of my grandfather only man I've ever seen fill a cooler with crappie while nobody else was catching them. He didn't care to eat the other fish so he didn't fish for them. Only man I've ever seen furnish a fish fry for 100 people with crappie year after year. Now me and my brother developed a love for bass fishing and you have helped so much. Had the chance to fight some big bass. Now I have 2 boys and a girl of my own and my oldest is about as serious about it as anyone I've ever seen. I'm here watching to learn and teach him. Thank you !

Hi, Roland, I'm enjoying watching you fish! I used to watch you, Bill Dance, and Jimmy Houston as a teenager in Memphis, Tennessee. I'm glad I found you all on KZbin! I didn't know it was had to catch one on the first cast. You guys have really inspired me to fish again. hope don't do alligators, snakes, or spiders. Thank you for all the teaching you do. I hope you don't snatch the like off those little bass! LOL!😂. I didn't know you could melt, mold, and reuse the worms. Good deal! Thanks! Be well. Be blessed and safe.

Hey Roland! Great stuff!! It seems that Lots of these places you fish tend to be more secluded and have less pressured fishing. It’d be great to see an episode with tips and tricks for pressured pond or lake fishing. Thanks and wish you well

I'm really lucky here in Florida for I constantly research new, out of the way places to fish that aren't being pressured, you can do the same by looking at Google Maps and checking out the hundreds of bodies of water near you from farm ponds to little creeks to big lakes!

Hello Mr. Martin. My name is Dee and I live in south Florida. I was born and raised right here! My family is commercial fisherman so saltwater fishing is in my blood but, with all the restrictions on saltwater fish, my best friend and I decided to go bass fishing. He has done it some in his life time but I have never. We have fished every inch of freshwater canals near and around our house with no luck. (We live on Pine Island just north of the Everglades). We watch all your videos to try to learn from the best. We made the ride to the Everglades twice now with no luck (remember we are rookies at this freshwater fishing). Where are you when you make these videos? Our could you give us some sound advice on how to get ‘er done? I have fell in love with freshwater fishing and have invested a good amount of money into gear (all based on your recommendations) 😉. Me. Martin please help. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.
