Robe rich or a Bass land, its just wonderful to see you fish out of your John boat or Canoe. This was a great video. You show people that you don't need to rich or in a $25,000 Boat to enjoy fishing, or to catch huge fish. I am 63 years Old and I have watched you your whole career. It is nice to know the Best Bass Fisherman who has ever lived, is still so down to earth. Thank you for sharing all your up lifting videos.

Cooped up in Alaska is making sick. My love for fishing here is drained . Rivers closed due to poor king and silver salmon returning and the pike get really good for a very short period of time, till people go out and destroy the pike. We were planning on moving to Florida only to have China destroy the dreams of many. I just love your show . My wife and kids are still dreaming of fishing for bass and saltwater fish someday. Lol I’m sick of trout fishing. Needing the dream to come true. Thank you for Keeping the dream alive God bless you and thanks Roland for all the wonderful videos. This one was awesome 😎

ROLAND, YOU OL DAWG! Catching more than one or maybe two bass that big in a season is a good summer. But you catch that many almost in a row in one afternoon is why I've been following you for 50+ years and you are a legend. SON! Again, thanks for sharing my friend.....

You catch way more big bass in south Florida where he lives. I can't imagine how many 8 pounders he's probably caught. I'm in Virginia and my PB is 8 pounds, and I caught that when I was 11 or 12 lol.

NICE ROLAND! BIGGUNS! I've been watchin your shows and following you and Scott on the tourney circuit for over 30 years at least. Thanks for sharing all your tips and techniques during that time. Topwater is my favorite way to get em, as I'm sure it is for alot of us. I've been so jealous of all you guys (KZbin Fisherman) being able to get out and fish. Our stupid governor closed all fishing everywhere here in Washington State 2 months ago. Couldn't even go fishin by myself! Just yesterday, he announced that hunting and fishin will open back up next Tuesday May 5th. Thank God! Thank you and Scott for all your KZbin videos and TV shows to help keep me "somewhat" sane during all this craziness!👊👍👊👍

This happened to me a few times while fishing top water... what amazed me is how well these gators see the lure even when you throw away from them. Another fun video, keep them coming Roland :-)
@donalddouglas9645 Жыл бұрын
The first thing I caught on a lunker lure was a 2 ft. Alligator, around 2 ft. I really didn't measure it. He wasn't any happier about being caught than I was about catching it. It was in a drainage ditch close to the oil rig I was working on around Baytown. That lil gator wasn't happy with me using a BIG pair of Channel locks to unhook him even tho it ruined my lunker lure! He scratched my leather glove up too. Some Cajuns on Frank's Casing Crew wanted him fore supper but I always was a catch and release kind a guy even then in 1969 after 2 tours of Nam behind me. The second lunker lure caused a backlash and when I dug the thing out and started reeling a 5 pound Bass slammed it when it was still underwater! I just thought about this when you started fishing around gators. I saw your frog video about changing the 4/0 hooks with the 3/0 and I spent 70 dollars give or take a few. I love your videos after watching you, Dance and Houston since your hair was combed and yalls teeth was shiny, mine was kinda shiny to. From one old 100% disabled Veteran to another Veteran, Thank You for Your Service Sir..

Mr Roland would put a power pole on his canoe lol. Mr Roland you should try the maraca frog if like the sprinker frog, and try a Berkley chappo in my opinion it works better than the whopper plopper the paddle on it is solid instead of the soft rubber so the whole lure doesn't spin around if your fishing it fast and it has a better sound as well.
