Fantastic work RvR! I have deep respect for your work and the clear way you demonstrate it! The yoke does look a bit fragile btw.

Very nice piece of engineering. I can see that when in autopilot mode it will give very realistic movement. Alan

Have you looked at my simprojects website? Most info on TQ is there. I used MJOY-16 as interfacing, but there are many other choices. Regarding parts, that's mostly from junkyards, but gears can be bought online as well. The forum I normally visit is mycockpit.

first of all, this is impressive. question for your motion cockpit, does the pilot seat simulates the G-force in climb, decent, turn, stall? cheers, great build

That's an interesting main panel layout. What plane it that from? Also awesome hack.

Nice yoke! .. Maybe you could do a force feedback load bearing yoke using magnetic resistence (altering voltage in the magnetics to increase/decrease simulation of load/resistance) like the $2000 Iris yoke. I'd love to have one of those but wish they were much less expensive.

Hmm looks good but awfully complex to me. Planning on getting one or more wired vibration equipped PlayStation controllers and tie them to my current table. Hopefully it'll work and I'll have somewhat realistic feedback for touchdown,take-off and taxi-ing. I don't need any stall warnings though if the software can render the rumble of the airbrakes that'll be cool. Maybe your technical knowledge and rumble PS controllers would make a good pair.

Could I send you my MSFFB 2 Joystick and pay you to disassemble it, perform the mod, and send it back to me unassembled?

Any chance of such a video on the throttle quadrant? I really want to build one myself. Hard to find good info. You go to a specific forum? I just want 6 linear things, a vertical and horizontal trim and a few buttons on it. I know there are certain usb chips for it, but which one would I need for what I want? Can I just salvage the parts from a broken mixer I have lying around? I opened it up but am not too sure how to break it apart.
