Yes...but he should be a regular in the test team...but when they went for other country..SENA...only one spinner will play either ashwin or jadeja...at least case zero spinner..bcz vihari,Rohit can bowl spinn and they choose shardhu as a allrounder....so it is better to choose Rahul or pant or rahane..

But jadeja personally doesn't have a much interest in test cricket, he is more focused on ODI and T20

Thank you Gentlemen for the very informative session... budding talented cricketers are getting early recognition through many talent scouting firms but are mostly sucked into the IPL/T20 cricket setup.. they are trained (for specific role most suitable for T20), provided with all facilities, paid well and promoted to do well in shorter format, if they do well then they get the star status or else they lose hope and confidence and fade out of of cricket.. As such we are slowly but surely losing those talents in longer version (Test cricket) creating a big void. It would be great if the KSCA authorities get the best help/support/advice from Mr. VVS Laxman at NCA and Mr.Rahul Dravid, exclusively aim to promote talents, through the coaching program, for more tougher and challenging format... the Test cricket...

Please make note of historical coaching method used by earlier coach such as Ramakanth and others. More over cricket coaching has become fashion to make money. Each coaching centre must upload match data into system and get approved by each governing body so that fair selection method can be concluded. Identified rural talent must have pooling system and give cricketing gears as award. We need cricketers to shine overall so that Cricketing legacy countiue.

It is wonderful to see all my cricketing heroes (since I have been an ardent fan of Karnataka Cricket Team since my childhood) talking with so much passion and concern for the future of Indian Cricket. Sujith Somasunder, Vijay Bharadwaj and Srinivas Murthy thank you all for your time and effort in bringing these wonderful content. It feels good to see the amazing camaraderie between the former teammates. The best part was when Srinivas Murthy (Jani) asked about NCA from a layman's perspective which is so true and relevant. A common man only thinks of NCA as a rehabilitation center :) May National Cricket Academy of India reach greater heights and bring out more cricketing talents under the leadership of VVS Laxman and Sujith Somasunder.
