Questioner sounds bit confused...wondering if those questions were really asked in the interview, however, answers were great n to the point despite weird questions

Good answers. @Saket Sir, I want to know if some level of policing would be required and who should try to enforce rules (PM/PO/SM) in case where a team member is not interested to follow basic ground rules like estimation, task status or even description/comments and attending scrum meetings despite several rounds of coaching from SM. My 2nd question is that in case there is an architect/SME who is a very senior member of the program team and wants to introduce a new logic which involves a lot of coding and will directly impact my sprint goals by atleast a few sprints. The points to be considered is that the PO/PM is not in a position to defend the team precisely and say a yes/no due to his/her personal relationship with SME and position of the SME in the organisation, the developer has clearly cited the dependencies that need to be sorted out and the probable timeframe needed for it as well as the dearth of manpower needed to implement the new logic. How should I as a SM approach this situation and reach to an amicable solution?
@izenbridge4 жыл бұрын
Difficult to suggest just one approach for such cases, I did discuss at some level in these two videos: How to handle Reluctant Team Members: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3K4faGJn6dqepI How to handle conflicts in scrum teams? kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH_CnJmtrb5ortU The idea is, the scrum master needs to show how the current behaviour is impacting the team and person in a negative way and what can be done to overcome that. I do see some level of TELLING or Say Policing might be needed based on where team member stand, check the below view kzbin.info/www/bejne/eomQh5Z4p8Stmck

Program Increment Planning (PI planning) is a cadence based event to plan and deliver incremental value. PIs duration is 8-12 weeks long. For more details, please refer - www.scaledagileframework.com/pi-planning/

Hi sir, is Leading SAFe agilist SA certification a prerequisite/mandatory for someone who is working as SAFe scrum master for the first time? Please comment sir 🙏
@izenbridge3 жыл бұрын
Not necessary, it depends on organization, I think you have anyway done it.

I have a doubt: When a scrum master works in SAFe environment/project, is it when he is called Release Train Engineer? Please help Saket sir 🙏
@izenbridge3 жыл бұрын
Release Train Engineer is like Group Scrum Master, so a leader who is mentoring and coaching scrum masters of one group. In SAFe we create group of teams called agile release train , this video can help : kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXe6hX6rpsx2lZo

Hello sir, I am a senior developer with 7 plus experience.. I am planning to become a scrum master... Could you please guide me how I should pursue it
@izenbridge3 жыл бұрын
Becoming a Scrum Master needs both learnings and practical experience. For experience, working in a Scrum Team could count. For learnings, you can start from CSM certification. Also, a lot of Scrum Masters have a dual role as developer or tester; if you get the opportunity, you can consider combining your current role to get experience. You can write to sales@izenbridge.com for your learning needs.
