Emily, at 1:45 you say that the default is that people on the same level of the hierarchy -- e.g. the various regional reps in the example shown -- cannot see each others' records. But you also say that is a _drawback_ of this approach. But I thought that was the whole _point_ (or at least one of them) of this approach. And I'd have thought that if you were going to use sharing rules, as you suggest, to get around that "drawback", then you may as well not bother with roles or hierarchy in the first place. What am I missing? What benefits do roles and the hierarchy provide (i.e. other than the very restrictions that you talk about overriding)?
