I had the SD43, sold it and bought the Black Deepsea. I absolutely love the Deepsea! My wrists are larger than 7 inches and I love the weight! I do love the cyclops on the SD43, might add it to the collection again one day, but wear the Deepsea daily and couldn't be happier! I had also purchased the 41mm Sub, but it looks like a toy on your wrist after wearing the Deepsea, so I sold it. To each his own. Enjoy!

Two superb watches - but I love my Deepsea - it’s a beast and a real show stopper
@MrNegroni3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can never go wrong with the Deepsea. It’s the biggest, most advanced and best Rolex pound for pound. For example a Daytona and the Deepsea are priced almost the same by Rolex at retail so I think the Deepsea is definitely overlooked a lot.

Great video, thanks for posting. I am collecting an SD from an AD in a few weeks. Can you please let me know what protective film you have on your SD and a link if possible. It looks hardly visible. My old Sub picked up a few scratches along the way, inevitable I know. My new SD will be worn every day and I'd like to give it all the protection I can. Thanks.

Be careful w your verbiage. Mk1/2/3 Deepseas refers to the dial changes which all belong to the first gen 116660 and can be looked up. But when you talk about the watch itself with the new changes to the bracelet, well that isn't the Mk2, that is the second generation. 1st gen is 116660 which has Mk1/2/3 dials and the second generation reference 126660 which you have here. New movement, case design, bracelet and clasp. -And as I write this we're on the 3rd gen Mk2 as Rolex removed Sea-Dweller from the dial but still has reference 136660. Love this comparison.

Ma786sai Dua great review, I want your thoughts if I should buy the current Gen 3 Ref 136660 DeepSea black OR the Gen 2 Ref 126660 black DeepSea? I ask especially as my AD can get me a 136660, but as you know the divers extension has been removed on this. Something I don’t like. Bless you

@@cyrussataravalla6731 I have the 126660 Black Dial DeepSea and love it! I had the divers extension removed when I bought it, sits better on your wrist without it. I believe the bezel is perfect on the 126660, I think they slimmed it down a bit on the 136660. Enjoy whatever you purchase! Cheers!

Just bought the SD43 earlier this year but I'm fighting the urge to buy the Deepsea d-blue due to the fact that they look so similar except the fact that the deepsea dial has that blue to black effect but it still makes me feel like in some ways I'm buying the same watch even though in my mind it's not. Any thoughts anyone to help me out here??

Hello, I had the SD43 and actually changed it for the Deepsea. The dial of the Deepsea is just beautiful specially in the sun. In terms of how it wears, I much prefer the Deepsea to the SD 43. I used to get pain on my wrist after wearing the SD43 for a day, and even though the Deepsea is larger, it wears very comfortable. I've been wearing it daily for the past 4 weeks or so
@derrylbutler53312 жыл бұрын
@@arod8046 I haven’t had a issue on how the SD43 wears but my only issue with the D-Blue is that it would make me feel like I’m wearing the same watch but the dial is blue/black , I guess it’s something that just bothers me about getting it.
