Rolex Oyster Perpetual 116000 Review | 4K

We have just taken this striking one owner Oyster Perpetual into stock.
This was bought new in 2017 and comes complete with all of it’s boxes and papers etc.
We love the look of this watch. It’s deep blue dial Explorer style dial is just stunning especially when the sunlight hits the dial.
The case size is 36mm so definitely a unisex watch.
The case and bracelet is made from Rolex 904L grade stainless steel which is the best you can get!
Powering the watch is an automatic movement tested to COSC standards (-4-+6 seconds per day)
It is mounted on an oyster bracelet with a deployant clasp

Not many 36mm watches would look good on an 8" wrist, but it still suits you there! I'm considering the watch with a 7" wrist and i think it would suit quite well.

Stunning watch in the blue, I think that’s made my mind up between the black and blue. And I wasn’t aware that the OP could come with the Explorer style dial with the Arabic’s.

@@kloschuessel773 some people just want a nice classy Rolex to wear. Nothing to do with value appreciating. Just a clean good size Rolex with a good power reserve. Submariners are overrated by people on KZbin and watch websites.

My first choice when I visited an AD last year was the 39 mm blue dial Oyster Perpetual. Not in stock and the AD (had never dealt with them before) refused my offer to pre-pay for one. However, they would let me pre-pay for a not-in-stock 36mm with the blue dial with Arabic numerals; it struck me as aesthetically pleasing versus all the other 36mm OP alternatives. Not a “showy” watch, in my opinion. Definitely gets noticed by people but I’ve yet to experience anyone initiate a conversation about it when I wear it in public.

i just desperately wish Rolex still did a 36mm Explorer. As stunning as the blue dial is, the Explorer still feels slightly more special. Sadly for me though the 39mm looses that Explorer elegance.

Great review up to 3:53...the crown screws into the side of the watch...which is typical of Rolex.......(and just about every other watch...)...A Blinding Revalation....not many people know that!!!

Purchased a blue dial 36mm last year from an AD in the USA. Cost was $5,400. Out of the box, it fit my 7 3/8” wrist size perfectly. Superb wrist presence and the blue dial is sublime. I’ve yet to have anyone ask me about this watch when I’ve worn it publicly.

Bought my blue dial 36mm new. Was not in stock at the AD. Pre-paid the entire price up front and it arrived at the AD about 4 weeks later.

Made my purchase late last year from an AD in the state of Delaware, which has no sales tax. It sounded like they routinely receive a great many US/international inquiries about the availability most popular SS models, including the Daytona. Wait lists (if they’re even willing to do it) for certain >36mm SS models are typically long to very long, from all I gleaned. Sounded like they weren’t lacking for clients who bought more than one new Rolex timepiece per year. Excellent buying experience.
