No doubt, Roland Wolf has a quirk about glasses. "At 14, I started wearing glasses without needing a prescription", he admits. And it is just that enthusiasm that helped the Tyrolean to establish his company ROLF Spectacles as one of the most trendy and sought-after eyewear manufacturers. The glasses are literally manufactured, 100% out of wood and handmade in the company's manufactory in the Tirol.

Ja, Roland Wolf hat einen Brillentick, keine Frage. „Mit 14 Jahren habe ich angefangen, Brille zu tragen, obwohl ich gar keine brauch“, gesteht er. Es ist genau diese Begeisterung, mit der es der Tiroler geschafft hat, seine Firma Rolf Spectacles zu einer der angesagtesten Brillenschmieden überhaupt zu machen. Wobei Schmiede eigentlich das völlig falsche Wort ist, denn die Brillen aus Tirol bestehen komplett aus Holz.
