the klinkhammer looks like a para midge or para black gnat. here in the california sierra nevada they are my favorite fly to use.

The Klinkhammer is not considered a 'white trash' fly here in the U.S. Like all things "European" it carries for the American mind a certain sense of the mysterious and the exotic, much like say coq au vin, or perogi's do. Your "Ikea" banter had me grinning! Thanks for more great work. I'm heading to Ikea to check the dumpster for carpet remnants!
