The Rolgear is my go-to. I carry both a Rolgear and a Klein Extended 6 in 1 for my daily apartment maintenance work. Your're correct when you say the Milwaukee bits are harder to get out. I've also used the Irwin and Husky, but they are too bulky. Nice video.

In the roughly 30 days that I've had this screwdriver, I've used it more than you have used all of your tools, combined, over the last 3 years. Facts.

Thanks for the honesty in your reviews. Hope all is well got my bandages off now still waiting for the skin to heal. Still have pain but my knumb fingers are gone I can hold my tablet more than 30 seconds and my fingers don’t go knumb. I went back to work finally. 5 weeks of not being able to do much was sucking butt. Thanks again mdlee

I think I will have to try one of those. I use the Stanley 6 n 1 pretty religiously and have been finding my self needing a square drive quite often.👍👊

I really like those Stanley versions. Thanks, Matt!

I've got both the model being reviewed and the 4" model with a regular sized handle that doesn't come with bits. These screwdrivers do have their quirks. The markings on the latter started wearing off after coming into contact with shop chemicals. I wonder if they have corrected that problem. Nevertheless, it's not a big deal. It's cool to be using something that's made in a town 4 hours drive away.

Yeah whatever, I just ordered this driver which has since been rebranded by MLTOOLS. I have a gearless driver made by Gedore Tools that I love so I figured I’d give this one a shot. Says made in Canada but I highly doubt the ratchet mechanism and bits are made there.

That Wera kompact driver is most comparable and I bet thats a $40 screwdriver, you would think putting in a thin nylon washer would keep it from having play. This would be a awesome screwdriver for around the house for putting Ikea furniture together or if you were like a contractor, handyman, appliance repair etc.. I used a am-pro indexing ratchet driver I got at Fred Meyer's that I used for nearly 2 years everyday 8+ hours a day when I assembled the BBQ's and Furniture you see at Home Depot and those kinda stores. Tho I dont wanna go back to that job this would of been a great tool for me. My old driver got stolen before it ever crapped out

Right screwdrivers are just one of those tools you don't need the most expensive one because they're cheap enough to produce and plentiful that there's competition from the makers to make a product that sells. I've tried justifying a snapon ratchet driver (lol) just as a novelty piece that I can use a lot and I cant get passed how lame it is for almost $80

I like those bits better than say , the Klein (which I still like), cuz they're harder to lose since they're bigger
@mdlee526 жыл бұрын
Good point. I didn't think of that.

mdlee--It seems to be a great ratchet-less screwdriver. Perhaps the only downside is the ability to purchase new bits (or other style bits that you may need for your application). It probably doesn't occur often, but If you lose one bit, you've actually lost two. If it's a bit you use a lot, it could take 1-2 weeks to get a replacement, unless things have changed. Since Rolgear is not well-known here in the U.S., I'm guessing the only way to get them is through the manufacturer. However, I'm reminded that there are others that use these long, double-ended driver bits, most notable among them being Megapro (though also not readily available in stores). I believe the Milwaukee driver you compared it to also uses the same type of bits. Any information about the availability of replacement bits?
