I mean, are you going to pay him to make this a worthwhile endeavor? For most content creators, they either end up being popular enough to attract sponsors or the channel dies. And this applies to pretty much anyone making any kind of content. You either find your audience or your content dies. Content costs money. It is both expected and (potentially) necessary to get sponsors. Even having a Patreon page means you have sponsors.
