Put the red die into the second spot and then take it and put it into Dex. Use the Dex ability to swap the red die you just placed with the black 5 in wisdom, then buy the dedicated trait card if still available. Scores you one point for matching class color, gets the Dex goal for your backstory, and hopefully another 2 points for dedicated. EDIT: See Reo's reply below because I'm blind.

IMO this is the best course of action however as both dice in Wisdom are green, I'd like to amend these directions: Swap the Con Gold 6 with the Wis Green 5. The swap will fulfill the Con goal for the backstory. With Dedicated, an Armor piece is required to gain the additional 2 points. As for the Red die in Dex, weigh accordingly any black dice during the following initiative phases. Slotting the black die in Dex to swap immediately with the Red will fulfill another Backstory requirement. --- edit --- Credit to David Davison below, regarding Acrobatics: As you've one Wis slot available, theres no others means to shift alignment around as to reuse the Acrobatics skill - so exercise this option accordingly during the dice phase. If aiming for the Foolish 2 VP goal, paying the alignment shift for acrobatics - Shift the Wis Green 5 up a pip and the Int Blue 4 down a pip.

I like grabbing the red die, and I might put it into slot 1 to ensure you are able to pick up the Dedicated card from the center. Thog is also 2 cards away & will surely be buying more skills to take advantage of his Rogue ability. The Con/Wis swap that Reo suggests is about the best you can do here, I think. I had also considered adding it to STR & possibly abandoning that goal as you'll need all 6's to counter the "-2" modifier to reach 16 (and it's only 2 stars). The STR dice face swap could be used to flip that gold 6 to 1 for a later swap to CON to help fulfill the Foolish trait.

We can all agree, the priority is the Red 4 die. A Red die alone can fulfill both Class & background goal on Thoks sheet, while a Red die slotted into Dex could only fulfill a background goal for ReauxDeauxLeaux. ... Since RoughDoughLough has first pick of initiative, having the Red 4 in the 2nd initiative slot will award him the needed gold for Dedicated. Optionally, if Dedicated isn't worth the shift in alignment for 4 Gold AND possible 2 VP - Discard it for 2 Gold would be a good Market phase action. RohD'ohLoh? RoweDoweLowe? RAW-DAW-LAWWWWWWWW!

1. Put the red die on the 2nd initiative slot and take it. (1 star for red die and an extra gold) 2. Place it in Dexterity and swap the green 5 in wisdom for the Gold 6 in Con (Fulfilling 1 backstory requirement) 3. Use acrobatics to increase the green 5 to a 6 and decrease blue 4 to 3 (keeps Con on way to 18 while keeping Int low, also improves alignment) 4. While shopping, if it hasn't gone already get dedication, otherwise discard intimidation for gold (Only need 1 armour to complete dedication, other two cards are useless/too pricey) 5. On future turns, try flipping the purple 1 to a 6, collect as many 5s and 6s as possible because you need them for Str, Dex, and Con. Try and pick up a skill that'll move your alignment down (to work in tandem with acrobatics, don't be scared to use acrobatics because you can always decrease you Int) and try and pick up a piece of armour.

If you have 3 gold: follow the instructions of Daniel Carter. If you have 2 gold: Place the Red Die on initiative 1 and take it (the Rogue is making tons of money 1 more or not doesn't matter). Place the Die on the Strength row and using it's ability flip the purple die showing only 1 pip, thus completing the Charisma Objective. Then on the market phase trash the Dedicated card gaining 3 gold and preventing thok 2 guaranteed points.

At around 5:20 Rodney takes the weapon that gives him 1 gold whenever a player discards a card from the Market. After Pep takes the other weapon, the third card is discarded. This does not give Rodney a gold because it was not actually discarded by a player?

That's actually because Pep is Luke from the future (or Luke is Pep from the past) and that's why they never appear together on video as this will cause a time paradox and our timeline would disappear.

With your starting die I didn't know you could assign them anywhere? I was always under the impression it had to all be in the first slot of each stat

It does, but once you have a die in the leftmost space, a new die can go into the second-most space of that same row, and so on. Did you see an example where it was done differently (include a time stamp and I can check what you're referring to).

I'm surprised that saying never came up before. Thokk actually comes from an old campaign I once ran. I rolled out a ton of NPCs in the castle and designed them around what I rolled. Of course, given the choice of a dozen or more NPCs, they go with the Half-Orc with 3 INT. Thokk got them in way more trouble than they ever anticipated, but they kept him around. My favorite was when they encountered some Giants and Thokk proclaimed "Thokk can speak to giants!" It took 2 sessions that including him translating for the giants before anyone thought to ask "How do we know Thokk can actually speak Giant?"

Rodney, you should be using your acrobatics to lower your intelligence. Remember, your goal is to have below 8 intelligence, and a 4 is on the upper half of the chart. You can then raise one of your 3's in your Charisma or your 5 in Wisdom.
