I’ve been working on one problem, for nearly ten years. One week ago, I believe I found the solution. After checking, rechecking, checking… challenging myself, doubting my sanity, dead ends, sleepless nights, piles of paper, boxes of whiteboard markers, and enough caffeine to fill a football stadium, it hit me like a bolt of lightning. How beautifully elegant it is. This poem is fundamental to my existence. It has been my companion, on this quest. Thank you, Mr. Bukowski.

This poem has a special place in my heart now. It also came in the right time as I am about to continue holding onto my hobbies and learn all kinds of subjects, even if I may struggle with depression or just want to be a couch potato. Sometimes it’s difficult, but I do it because “there is no other feeling.” Thank you for blessing the internet with this video.

This is beautiful, especially when it's hard to continue a hobby when you know you're hitting hurdles and hard to overcome them. Love Tom O'bedlam's voice and the music, black and white and the different scenes you used, really speaks to the heart. It's a really calming yet motivating video and I never really saw how hard it was to produce these types of videos until I watched this.

This made me cry. I broke up with a my boyfriend of 2 years about 4months ago. He wants to get back, but I don’t want him back anymore. I want to finally choose lige that I wanna live, balanced life. Gittong out of comfort zone I decided that I have to let him go. He was great but past half year he changed to a d*ck and it went down the road quickly. I don’t think I’m ready for this loss, but life is about challenges and getting over them, roght? 😊 I need to start doing things for myself not for others. I’m sad that he does not wanna be afriend. I gotta cut all ties. Maybe in future our paths cross, but now I gotta let him go. If someone is going through something similar, I feel ya and we will get through this. After the break up, there were good and bright days, I see them comming🌞.

Gracias mil. Abrazos, Naughton

This hits different when you don’t even have the motivation to try anymore. You want to, you want to give it a shot. But you don’t feel very determined. I’m someone who always gives up the moment things get hard because I get overwhelmed easily. I doubt my own abilities because for so long others have told me I can’t. And I started believing it. I’m still trapped somewhere unsafe, both for my life and my mental health. I’ve been screaming for help. Begging my dad to get me out of here but he just watches. He just watches me drown. He might reach out, making me think he’s going to save me, but then that’s as far as he’d go, he won’t get any closer for me to grab a hold of that hand of his. I don’t know how long I can stay afloat. I don’t know how much of my determination is left. I don’t know anymore.

@howdyho I do understand very well how you are feeling right now. I have been there. I know how it feels to be completely lost and unmotivated. I'm a little older than you (28) and looking from here to the past those memories feel much better. I feel stronger and less pressured about myself. My advice: don't pressure yourself. Allow yourself to feel sad and unmotivated. Allow yourself to feel those things without feeling bad about feeling them. It is good that you let know your close friends and family how you feel, but still, don't create big expectations about their response. All I can say is that even though now everything seems to be very dark and without hope, things get better over time. Life gets better over time. I send you my best vibes from the other side of the screen!

It must be hard for young people in this world so much pressure . I'm 63 I've been in the dark so many times ,but don't give up because things will get better. It's always the darkest before the dawn. When in deep depression just rest in it, it will lift eventually and I'm saying that from experience through many dark depressions.Life will take you where you need to go. It's hard being sensitive in a pretentious world. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. You are so brave. All the best.
