We got a call from a couple that had taken the wrong line coming down the Z-turn on cliffhanger trail and rolled their sxs. So we all loaded up in the Scrambler and headed up to get them. Once there we had a couple option for winching it over and finally decided on a simple direct winch pull. Once on its wheels we got it started and backed up to flat ground for them. They loaded all their stuff back onto the machine and we headed out. We had to spotthem a few times. Coming out from the reek crossing near the entrance he tipped up on his back wheel. I pulled his which line out to help with some weight on the line but there was a little confusion on whether I said go or whoa... But once he gave it throttle it went right up. Please make sure you are extra safe and careful when traveling these trails alone, we strongly recommend everyone try to stay in groups just for this situation. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I felt kindly sorry for the wife of the gentleman from Tennessee. Looks like she decided to walk the rest of the way after that rollover. And Shawn's comment at the end about skinny legs struck home for me. I was a lad in shorts and cowboy boots, and Grandpappy told me I looked like a mockingbird standing in 2 shotgun shells......

I think it all comes down to the old adage that it does not matter how much you spend on the rig, the most important part of the equation is the quality of the nut behind the steering wheel. That is one major reason why you wont find me on any of those trails. Plus I am not even on your side of the globe. Keep up the good work Gents, you are always my look for channel every time I turn on KZbin.

The fully independent suspension means they don't flex like a solid axle vehicle does, and they're not geared nearly low enough (especially after people put big tyres on them), so they really don't make a good rock crawler. They're more suited to dirt roads and uneven ground at speed, not slow and technical.

I’ve never done any of this in any kind of vehicle. So yeah I’m the armchair watcher and observer. Watching from camera’s and seeing the end after you’ve edited things to bring us the experience is just WOW. I feel for the Kawasaki guy as his rig seems to have a shorter wheelbase and higher center of gravity? So he was timid in the lines as Rory would just power through and use the rocks and tire size to navigate “getting stuck between the rocks”. I’m sure I’d be much worse and just want Shawn or Mike to drive me out. 😂😊
