Recovery Before A Storm And Mud Runs

Sent The Mike And Shawn Show after a vehicle that was stuck in some sand near Green River. They went and pulled him out, luckily before the rain got to them as he was stuck right in a wash. I was at the shop finishing up the engine swap in Trailmater. I have the mud runs in Debeque Colorado that I help with every year and needed the truck to be running for that. It ran ok. But I broke the front driveshaft at the burnout contest. More engine stuff coming soon. The buggy did win second place in the carshow for the truck Division. I got caught in a flash flood off Eagle Canyon in the San Rafael Swell this spring. It was scary how quick a dry wash turned into a raging river. I now respect canyons and washes much more!

This really sucks. Hasn't rained a drop here in Houston since 7/6. Temps over 100 for over 30 days (don't forget the humidity). Water restrictions for a month now. I'm moving to the desert.

Fun times! When I was a kid I had a 71 Mustang with a 429 , 4 speed and a 3.0 rear gear. Take off in second and burn rubber the whole block. Neighbors were not happy and the used tire budget got too high but I had a blast. Thanks for sharing.
