Rolleicord V - First Few Rolls

Testing out a Rolleicord V that I picked up recently from a charity shop by shooting a few rolls of Ilford B&W on a day out with the family.

Fantastic images and great video. I have the Rolleicord Vb as well as a few Rolleiflex cameras, but the 'Cord produces stunning images and obviously costs significantly less. Amazing find in a charity shop, I need to start looking in charity shops more often!

Great shots and video of a fun family outing! The camera performed flawlessly! Take in and enjoy those family times with the kids! Mine are 25 & 28 now and I miss the time when they were younger terribly! They're fine young men now but I miss that time! you have a beautiful family!

That’s a proper result! I had the Vb for a while, beautiful camera but I just couldn’t get on with the square format and the focussing. Shame really. Lovely photos Tom, family is 100% where it’s at.

That’s a bargain, I bought mine eight years ago for 120 quid and seen them going for around the 200 mark. I love mine it’s nice to take out and shoot as it weighs next to nothing and is a nice compact size.

It definitely is much smaller and lighter than I expected. Perfect as a carry around camera as it easily fits into a small bag. I did have a mamiya c330 a while back which I loved but it was almost twice the size and weight compared to this.

Great wee camera for sure. I had one but found the usability clunky compared to my Yashica 635 so sold it. Super nice images it makes though.

Lovely video Tom and great results with the new Cord! I really gotta commit to bringing my rolleiflex automat out with the fam more although it is rather tough to get a 2 year old to be still and look at the camera haha. Would love to see this camera used in one of your model shoot settings as well to really show what it can do!

Thank you! You can use any film you like, colour or B&W. And no a tripod is not necessary but I prefer to use one for sharper images.
