Here's my mounted 4K on-ride POV of the very cool Roller Coaster at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach! 😍 This old skool scenic railway opened back in 1932 and is now of the oldest, yet smoothest, roller coasters in the United Kingdom!

@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl Yes I did thanks - was my friend's 50th Birthday celebration - always nice to ride the woodie, but also had fun at Joyland and did the Big Wheel too.

Great footage. Of all non-British enthusiasts, I bet I’m looking forward to visiting this park and Joyland more than anyone else. Oh, and those animatronic seagulls were so life-like.

They were real seagulls

@@funfairaroundeastanglia I know - they really seemed like it, right? Especially the way they were made to fly away. Amazing technology.

Awesome footage, thank you! I envy you for getting to ride such an old classic... How does it ride / feel?

It's surprisingly smooth for being so old. Ride can vary a lot depending on conditions and the brakeman. Last run I did it was really hauling. Back seat is most impressive, good air time, especially with the loose lap bars. Last few bunny hops are a bit anti climatic, but that's true of many coasters (especially for one designed before computers, let alone modern computer simulations).
