That airial shot of the log flume 😭 i went yesterday with my Dad and 5 year old son. I was absolutely gutted to see the empty hole where it once was. I was really excited to ride it with them and getting a photo

Wow that was amazing! Would love to see other videos of the park. I have so many childhood memories of the pleasure beach. The super loop, the cine 180, sky flyer, magic carpet, it's bad, looping star! Brilliant to see the classic roller coaster insights thank you.

I know people are always going on about how things used to be better in the "old days", but the Pleasure Beach is really a shadow of what it used to be. Walking round today it seems like a few rides on a car park. It used to have such an atmosphere when it was run by the Botton Bross. Should never have got rid of the watershute, the helterskelter, mexican hat, the restaurant about the dodgems, the giant, and to alpine ski deco of the Rollercoaster. The coaser is still great, but everything else has gone downhill.

agreed, the old pleasure beach seems so fascinating, although i havent visited in the early years of it.

i have never actually been on this ride, it seems so amazing with a great view. i could understand why it is the ride that practically represents / gets more riders at pleasure beach. great documentary.

The helter skelter with the bowl was good You had a chairlift ride Some old home movies have footage The double big wheel Wildemaus xxl could fit they use cranes Water chute was good

Once upon a time there was a water chute type thing beyond the scenic railway. It went up steeply, across the top and then down into a pool. Anyone know what it was called? Or perhaps I dreamt it 😁

I’m gutted as when ever I come to Great Yarmouth I always ride the coaster,I’d buy tokens,but they have stopped the token system,now you have to buy a wrist bank or such like fit like £13 upwards,so I can’t just ride the 1 I’m not paying that just to rude it,gutted hope they change it back to token system
