Not a silly question at all. You can definitely do some movements on inlines. Probably not all but you could always make your own adjustments. Any type of strength training is helpful too and I have a few of those videos as well. We are having heatwaves and hazardous air quality due to smoke where I’m at so I can totally relate to being stuck inside. 💜

Do you have on knee pads?. If so what brand?

I do not in this video but I have a set of Smith Scabs that I did a little review on. I will wear protective gear when I know I am trying something new or out of my comfort zone. 💜🦋 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2XLZaWNa9V6pMU

Can i do this in rollerblades instead?
@TaniCoy3 жыл бұрын
Some of the moves might be a bit tricky but you could always make your own personal drills that work based off of these. I never did much fancy stuff on roller blades. I just went fast and rode them for exercise. Lol! 💜

I have a question! Does truck tightness affect your ability to do bubbles? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Total and complete noob here. But subbed! I love your explanation of things!
@TaniCoy3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for subbing! Not a dumb question at all. Actually a really good one. Yes, when they are loosened it can help with turning. But the more tight they are the more stable. So you can start gradually loosening until you find that sweet spot that works for you. And over time adjust to fit your advancements. Also bubbles has a lot to do with muscle activation and mind muscle connection. They can be really tricky at first and that is totally normal. 💜🦋

Cross overs and manuals I feel like I roll backwards and can’t actually practice
@TaniCoy2 жыл бұрын
You’ll get it. Might have to do with weight placement and muscle contraction. 💜

Okay I get what these drills do but for these brand new skaters, how do these drills help with specific moves? I don’t know how to do back and forth turning. Like what am I doing? How does the back and forth help at all??
@TaniCoy2 жыл бұрын
Any type of movement that gets you more comfortable on wheels without a lot of risk is good to practice. It also teaches control and getting used to moving your legs/feet/skates in opposite or different directions. A good foundation is always easier to build off of. If we are not able to do basic moves first then trying more advanced ones can not only be harder but dangerous. And the turning has to do with weight distribution and sliding. Hope this helps at least a little. 💜
