To be clear, Nomad Liners are £140 and Intuition Premium liners are £190 (price got cut post-upload because it was wrong!)

The very combination I was looking forward to hearing about (Lightning 90 + Nomad). Appreciate this and would really appreciate follow up after skating in them a bit.

Here is the first honest report of these liners. Cost me £6 delivery then £3 to return them so please let me share my thoughts. They look decent in the bag, as soon as i had them in hand i could tell these are not a premium product. The reason intuition is popular is because of the high end foam, Rollerblade has used flimsy non responsive cheap crap uncomfortable foam around the cuff area that causes the hard outer material to dig into your ankle. Tested in my living room on an FR1, PS Next and Seba E3. Can't fit inside Next without removing both velcro boards, the foam offers very little support, can't lean to the side without discomfort. Can use both boards on FR1 & Seba E3, using the boards makes them unbearable creates a stabbing pain at the V cut area. Removing the top board helps slightly but still very uncomfortable. Laces go most of the way down your foot, it's awkward trying to get in to tighten them properly, speed laces would have been a better option, also the given laces are not waxed and are a good few inches too long, that'll be another £10 to replace the laces. The grey towel material looks totally out of place at the front and ruins the look down. They are dual sized, the 300-305 is very much just a 305, they give you a foot board riser which is a completely flat insole that is supposed to reduce the size by 5mm, first trying them on i thought they feel ok, after couple mins i absolutley can feel the extra 5mm gap, these are not a good fit for me. You can't size down a shell with these quite the opposite the outer material is massive at the front forefoot area, extremely tight getting them inside a Next, they fill the FR1 well. They sit quite low, roughly 5mm lower than a reaction liner, only just covers the cuff on the FR1, the intuition is a good couple inches taller. No removable shock absorber, it's built into the soul and is far too soft for me. Sending them back today. *Edit, just noticing thay the velcro receiver on the boot has came unglued and is peeling away.

Been skating these for a couple weeks in my Blanks. Been mostly on intuition premiums for a couple years. Straight out the box the Nomads had zero break in time, super comfortable straight from the get go. Feels like they took the base of the intuition and made it better in my opinion.

Considering the number of people with pronated feet and flat feet, companies should really fix the issue of ankle pressure caused by hard boots and tough liners. Simply cutting a hole out of a hardboot (around the medial malleolus) and softening the liner material in the same area solves this issue. This should be a fundamental element in hard boot / liner design!
@clobbyhardy5 ай бұрын
Bont carbon frame wedges and many repeated heat molding sessions got it tolerable for my quite pronated and very flat feet. I’ve considered cutting a hole in the boot, but I was concerned it would weaken the boot too much. Have you actually done this?
@maddox694204 ай бұрын
@clobbyhardy Yes, I cut the hardboot and it makes no material difference to the structure! I have been skating almost every other day since and have felt zero pressure on my ankle so highly recommend it!

The material inside is the same as the material in my tree planting boots..its top grade and very impressive to see it in a liner. Got to be better than intuition just by having that

Nice review guys, my take from ur nomad review is, if wizard skating then stick to intuition or myfit second skin liner as they both are stiff for the tricks required for wizard. Would you agree?

I would really love to know exactly how many mm it adds to your feet in a boot. I bought a lightning size 40 and my foot sits perfectly without the liner, with about 4-5mm extra all sides. The stock liner crushes my feet. Would this help at all?
@diegobokserramirez64176 ай бұрын
The Intuition liner is a super low volume liner which would probably help alleviate pressure on your foot. This Nomad liner may offer the same comfort.

@@bladelab Thanks for the insight. I haven’t tried Them Intuition or Intuition V2. I liked the Premiums without the cuff and heel pad in Salomons. FR Intuition is really nice. The thickness of the Foryos and insole just work for my feet with intuition heel pad
