If you dont appreciate intuition liners you dont skate hard enough. Sorry. Once you really start leaning into your edges youll understand why you want a performance fit and intuition liners.

Hands down, the #1 feature is GASTON, that guy is a frickin skates encyclopedia, extremely knowledgeable guy, he even gives you it's own personal experience with the skates and compares them so it's easier for you to decide, than using the sizing charts. That guy is awesome! I was looking for some recommendations and he sent me an email that was more like a script with tons of info and his experience about the skate I was looking for, and let me tell you every single world was perfectly on point!!! And the skates fit me perfectly as he said it would be!!! 👍🏼

These are all helpful the only thing that might be helpful in the future is a spec comparison feature.

I have a question I have the fr x 80 and these rollerblades are really tight around my toes, I have unloosened the laces and they make my toes go numb. What rollerblades could I get that still have really good padding around the ankles but not so tight around the toes?
@LocoSkates9 күн бұрын
Are they brand new? How many times have you skated on them? (just checking it’s not just a case of breaking them in)
@chrisfivehouse54939 күн бұрын
@LocoSkates no they are not brand new I had them for almost a year, me and my niece go skating almost every weekend. What rollerblades do you recommend that are not tied around the toes? You said in a video that the new fr neo 1 has more room in the toes but I wear a size 5 in shoes but my rollerblades are a size 4 and 1/2. Does the fr neo 1 only come in a size 5 or can get a 4 and 1/2?
@LocoSkates8 күн бұрын
The FRX fits small so 😅f you are a size 5 and wearing a 4.5 it just sounds like your skate is too small. Yes, try a Neo… but in a 5. Rollerblade RB80 are also often tried on side by side with FRX skates and we find that when the FRX isn’t working for somebody the RB80 usually DOES work 😊

Hi. not sure if my question will be answered but I’m trying to decide between the lightning 90s and the lightning 110. i’ll be mostly doing outdoor skating with some rink skating. I’m rusty at skating but i’ve skated for a few years a while back and i’m not a stranger to inline skating at all…. are three wheels vastly different to four. And if I bought the 4x90 would I be able to buy a conversion to make it into a 3x110 later?

I had myself down to the FRX 80's, FR3 80's or the Lightning 80's (womens for color) and none of those were pulled haha. I don't think i'll change my mind but definitely interesting to see what's out there.
@TheNerdArmory13 күн бұрын
EDIT: Omg, the womens are the same???!!! I'm actually very happy to hear that. I'm tossing up over these and the FRX 80 Mint's. It's my wide foot that worries me. Is there a difference between the mens and womens? Because i like the womens color way more but I do have a wide foot.
@LocoSkates9 күн бұрын
No difference! You can totally buy the Womens if you prefer the colour. 🙂

A great video review but I think one key aspect missed is how they feel compared to a moulded boot such as the PS Hardcore Evo or FR SL 80. But no worries, I'll save it for a proper conversation when I manage to come down for a visit as I need new boots.

I have the opportunity to purchase either FR2 80s or Flying Eagle X7Ds at the exact same price point. Is there one that you'd consider categorically better for recreational use on rough pavement? I slightly prefer the look of the FR2s, but the ability to swap from 4x90s to 3x100s on the X7Ds is intriguing. I've never had a 3 wheel setup.
@LocoSkates19 күн бұрын
No significant difference - It'll just come down to which one fits your foot best. The FR2 is probably the one slightly more preferred by customers who try both on (but it varies with different people/feet)

Wonder what those would ride like if you anti - rockered them but with a 53 to 55 mm wheel in the center. Maybe also 92-95a on the hardness.

I used to abuse the hell out of my feet in my previous job and had to deal with gnarly foot pain on a daily basis. 1 1/2 years later and healed up feet, I got a pair of fr2 and anticipated a rough break on period. Boy was I wrong, those are some comfy skates right out of the box ( granted I have been rolling in 1990s spiritblades hard boot whose liners are all but non-existent prior to the fr2) is it because of my feet being so used to the pain? Or are the fr liners just dope?
@LocoSkates20 күн бұрын
No youre right. FR liners are really good. They're just super thick. Its a whole different thing to Intuition liners. Very padded and very lux!
