The ending of the main show was deliberately made open-ended enough that you could reasonably interpret the relationship status of all the main characters (except Pinkie who was clearly paired up with Cheese). Applejack and Rainbow Dash arrived to the meeting at the same time? If you wanted to interpret that as "they're in a relationship," then you could. If you wanted to see it as "they just arrived at the same time," that was viable too. But this? There's no way you could walk away from this without thinking EQG Applejack and Rarity are an item. Like, this is pushing the term "subtext" to its absolute limit. The homoeroticism is practically bursting at the seams.
