No cheats were used to make this video, and all the guests got on the rides of their own free will (disclaimer: the launch speeds may have um accidentally been increased prior to the start of the ride).
Part of the video was filmed in the “Arid Heights” map, which by default has no costs for ride construction or landscaping. This made creating some of the terrain features much more feasible. Keeping costs down was important, considering the mounting litigation costs and government ride safety violation fines levied against the park.
With a little modification I was able to get the game to run widescreen without any distortion. Even at a resolution of 1920 x 1080, the quality looks great. 1080p HD at 60 FPS is just a bit of overkill for a game released in 1999, but it looks better now then it ever did.

just the sound effects of the crowd bring back so many memories. the guy always yelling 'YEEAHHHH' like every 3 seconds always creeped me out for some reason. And the scream sound effects on the roller coasters are burned in my brain.

Rides crashing in this game always scared the shit out of me. Particularly when I was trying out building that new type of coaster that R&D came out with 5 minutes ago. Little did I know normal people got a rise out of such incidents.
