Great start. Now, I too struggled with this scenario in _OpenRCT2_ at first, and it was because of that glitch with the sloped path after the entrance. I appreciate that you mentioned this glitch with the game at around the beginning of this video for this reason.

Thanks! Yeah it was a big discovering that I'm pretty sure I learnt from Marcel (of course!), it would understandably make a big difference, especially if you go for charging for the rides, which I think most people would choose given the choice.

I distinctly remember as a kid always renaming the park "Futurama" and coloring the monorail teal/red and renaming it "Planet Express".

Great job on the Togo, so happy you did your research. In honesty, to this day, the Kings Island King Cobra and one of the two clones (Shockwave at Kings Dominion) are the only Togo Stand-up coasters I have ever been on. But they are also the only Stand-up coasters that I have ever experienced air time on. Sure, the B&M versions are much more superior, but fail completely to deliver the airtime. That hill right after the loop into the helix and the true airtime hill before the trick track were insane.

Future World is such an odd but iconic scenario. The Martian theming set is normally too ugly to use anywhere except in these wacky parks. Naming suggestion for the junior rocket coaster: "Zonai Zoomer" in the spirit of the upcoming Zelda game and its new futuristic robots seen in a recent gameplay showcase. Maybe recolor the track green and/or teal to make it pop against the red ground. The standup coaster painted Silver makes me think "Space Odyssey" from that movie's fanciful zero-G walking sequences set to waltz music.

Agreed on the martian theming! Thanks for the name suggestions - I really like Space Odyssey, I might use that for another themed area though, which I think might be space station or similar themed, not sure yet.

Maybe the name "Caldera" is a fun name for the coaster. "The large, basin-shaped crater at the top of a volcano. A caldera is formed when the original peak collapses into an empty chamber below." Fits into the volcanic theme

Oooh this is one of my top 5 fav corkscrew follies parks. This park has a VERY stood out theme, very big size, and overall makes a great variety to make decorations but importantly money. BTW last week I got OpenRCT2 on my brand new PC. I got all RCT2 inc. Wacky worlds and time twister + the RCT1 original and expansion packs and even Tycoon Park from RCT Classic.

Great that you got all the versions! Interesting that its one of your favourites. It's definitely not one of mine, but I will say that you do get a great variety of coasters, and for the most part, the land is reasonably nice to work with

Nice use of that big, deep crater- it's always awkward. I like to fill one with water and make a crater lake with a boat hire. Looking great so far!

It's already super interesting to see you building so many rides to start, instead of filling out scenery everywhere you go. It's a tough scenario best of luck! First name suggestion I had for the stand-up was Krakatoa, but after seeing it's colored white, I'll also suggest Ashfall. I thought the mine train coaster would come out looking like a kiddie ride with only 3 tiles of height but it looks awesome, favorite ride in the park so far!

Ashfall is perfect for the colour scheme actually - you've given me some good options here! Glad you liked the look of the minetrain coaster, I've actually made a couple changes to it since then, so hope you still like it afterwards!

There's a bug at the entrance of this park. Since the first path tile is inclined and underground, 50% of the guests entering the park would fall into the void and disappear.

Yeah I only learnt about the a few months before starting this park! I made sure to change the sloped path to flat pretty much straight away. I'm not sure if it's as high as 50% but its certainly a noticeable amount!

This is also my least favorite theme to work with, it's hard making this rock pattern and building textures look nice. But so far, it's coming along well. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Recently finished this one, I usually keep all rides intact when playing scenarios but that monorail in Future world is absolutely terrible. I kept running into it all the time when constructing new rides, it always managed to be at that exact height where it's too low to go underneath and too high to go on top.

I know exactly what you mean - It is at quite an awkward height, plus the clearance requirements for suspended tracked rides of three height units doesn't help either. I suspect I'm going to have to make a few more small modifications to it throughout the playthrough!

Olympus Mons could be a name for a volcano-themed coaster, as it's the biggest volcano in the solar system and it's located on Mars, while Future World also looks a lot like Mars with the red surface.

Hello this is my new account as my previous one got shut down for some odd reason! Very nice scenario and job here so far! In rct2 I picked future world and unfortunately had to edit it the way I wanted and had to build the monorail the other ways around redid the park walk in entrance and built a recreation of universal studios singapore's battlestar galactica by using the b&m twister tracks a former rolling thunder great adventure recreation into a Dinn Corporation wooden coaster and a cancelled schwarzkopf figure 8 standing loop coaster in future world located around monument valley of Arizona!

Have you ever finished recording a playthrough and ended up failing the scenario? Happens to me from time to time when i spend too much time on scenery and things of that nature.

Not yet but I've come very close! I do tend to save at fairly frequent 'checkpoints' so if I ever did fail I would likely just go back and see if I could make it the second go around! I'm sure it will start happening more frequently!

Thanks! I'm not sure actually - I think they were only introduced in the Loopy Landscapes expansion pack, so in an effort to only use 'what was available' at the time this scenario was made, I thought I would restrict myself there. Call me a bit old fashioned in that sense, but it's something I look to do where I can. Maybe I'll change my mind on that though!

Hated this scenario as a kid, still don't like it a lot. What you manage to do with it looks very interesting, and as always I look forward to the next part. As for a name for the coaster, Uranus Blaster would be good. You know... because of the space and volcano theme. Alright, don't call it that. How about simply Eruption?
