Played SETI for first time a couple of weeks ago. It seriously impressed me. I have been collecting and playing hundreds of boardgames since the 90's and it stood out as a genuinely great game. Even when you feel you are losing and then try to switch up strategy it as always still fun. And you really can climb the points if you ply clever on the last round. Didn't win.... but had a lot of fun failing.

Fascinating picks! I ordered my copy of SETI in September, and it shipped yesterday. I'm stoked. Separating apps makes the most sense. Even though some might argue to combine them, they are two different categories. Like making a "top ten books of 2024" list and putting a movie on the list. Sure, it's your list, but is there a clear audience for it?
