Rollin' Rascal is an upcoming speedy 3D Platformer in the vein of Sonic the Hedgehog and Spark the Electric Jester. After a couple demos over the years, they've finally reached Kickstarter and the Demo has enchanted me. As someone who played the demo pre patch i can tell you this was a well needed update. the only stage that worked well with online mutliplayer was pyrmadi panic. every other stage wouldnt even start the race officially meaning you couldnt get a placement when you reach the end. secondly some platforms have been re arranged for smoother playstyle, there was a winding rail in pyramid mpanic that required you to spindash to gain speed, but then youd lose it like half way up and it would be this slow, slog up the railing, and they fixed that by just making it a boost railing. im not sure why i typed out a paragraph this was so much shorter in my head

@@FowaJCT Crash enough times to hit double digits _(especially with entering caves)_ and have entire patches of the fucking ground suddenly lose texture indicating they have DESPAWNED meaning you'll fall right through them. Those have been the biggest banes of my existence with that demo. Also noticed a constant AI based problem of Pals having difficulty carrying items, either leaving a whole bunch of shit on the ground for ME to pick up or just outright freezing in place for minutes on end doing fucking nothing. The latter often happening with gardens making me have to pick up the food for them to get them to move again. And of course they tend to get suck in places I can't just pick them up and get them out of _(INCLUDING THE GODDAMN GROUND)_ meaning I have to keep messing with the Palbox to switch them back to stable ground. I guess this is what I get for paying money for an early access demo. Should have waited for the actual release....

​@TeryJones i wouldn't call Palworld a demo persay, but i did have a lot of problems with Pals walking around the base. They fall through the floor ane get stuck in a lot of places where they shouldn't. I don't think the game ever crashed on me though

As much as I admire the game play. I feel like it's about to be palworld all over again. People are gonna invade the comments and twitter posts. The sonic fanbase is gonna be annoyed to no end. Eventually the game dies. The same exact thing happened to spark, the same thing happened to palworld. Who's to say that it won't happen again.

Palworld is a pretty generic game though, this game isnt. The designs are unique, the game looks good and stylistic, it’s just taking inspiration from an old formula. Also, no one cares about or listens to the Sonic Fanbase (the loud minority at-least), if anyone listens to them, thats their loss.
