My cockatiel loves it when I do this to his pin feathers he doesn't get to many tho! But when he does they make him very itchy!! Your birb is enjoying your help!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you! Yes, I realized that my birds tend to get most of the pinfeathers off with the help of each other from time to time! I imagine it is very itchy!

is the prominent part a missing toe?
@pinfeathersgalore Жыл бұрын
Winner winner!! You get the story! One day at birdie daycare he had a door closed on his toe. He was rushed to ER, and it was promptly wrapped up by his avian doctor, but when she did a check on him, she accidentally pulled the tip of the toe off🥹. She had to rewrap the toe again but it healed very nicely. Now I have a bird who is part amputee.

I played this one on loop. How do we pronounce Cincin? Cheen Cheen?
@pinfeathersgalore Жыл бұрын
Yes!! That is exactly how you pronounce it! The person who got him, told me that he originally came from an Italian family who named him Cincin. It is a toast to good health. I decided to keep his name as it is.

Do pin feathers smell of anything?
@Motoko1134 Жыл бұрын
no different than the rest of the birb
@pinfeathersgalore Жыл бұрын
Budgies smell divine. They smell like honey, freshly cut grass, and sunshine. My cockatiel smells like tortilla chips and of dust🤣

Prominent Feature: The Ear?? It shows up as you pull the feathers back.?? 😃... You've just gotta watch out for the blood feathers. 🤔 My bird angrily let's me know if I start pressing on one of those! 😮
@pinfeathersgalore Жыл бұрын
Hehe not quite! Look a little bit downwards :) Ohhhb yea, the blood feathers are so sensitive! Cockatiels react quick like snakes haha. My budgies are far more chill.
