This song screams that she has depression and episodes of that. The tale of a loner, who either simply decides not to get help or that her introverty leads to her being too afraid to ask for help. Which ends with every depressive episode getting rougher, spiraling down into a weaker mind and finally giving in to the suicide thought. I always understood it that everytime she has an episode there is a voice in her head, telling her to commit suicide. And the video shows that suicidal thought perfect. Just imagine the camera as the thought. First she acts defiant against the camera. Then she literally runs away from the camera. And in the "basement" she realizes that the thought shows her the good ending (the light). She tries to achieve it. Maybe (not in my scenario but you could be right) she runs up the stairs and fells off accidentaly (she didn't lose her shoes). When she falls to the ground with her face looking up it's like a sigh of relief. And she makes her peace with the thought of dying and the last thing she does is embracing the camera. The perfect video for the perfect song. 10 out of 10.

If you have any psychological issues, don't do it like the girl and get help. It might be hard to ask at first, but you can do it. Just trust me. Fun fact: At Magical Mirai 2019 a guy from the US told us that the girl from the song is the perfect role model. She falls down and gets back up. She is not that.
