Stellar seeing this , brother! What a fun run. Watched this with our eldest and she enjoyed seeing bosses she remembers playing against when she'd occasionally jump in for a session. I'd love to hear a stage by stage thought process or general thoughts at some point. This is such a masterpiece game and it just gets better and better the deeper you go, the more aggressive you play, the further you push rank, etc. Interestingly enough, rank doesn't appear to be present in Casual (which makes sense) so that'll be another wild layer for you to interact with when buckling down with Original mode or beyond. Great stuff man!

@@Shmuptopia thanks for watching Dace. This was me kinda playing through it lots rather than specific practicing and routing if that makes sense. I felt I’d be able to dodge patterns just enough (with the stage 4 extend) to scrape through and just managed it 😅 I had one eye on working on Original really so I didn’t go too deep with learning, I figure I’ve got that to come & I’m looking forward to getting started! Rank on top of more difficult patterns is gonna be crazy (luckily I’ve got your guides to reference when needed!).

Interestingly enough, I was actually considering deleting my guides about a month or so ago. There are a few reasons for this, one of which is because I've drastically improved various sections (and everything in general) which has resulted in harnessing the mechanics to a far greater degree and far less resources are used now. While some sections would look similar, the approach is definitely different and more aggressive. This is for Expert mode, but the same would apply were I to go back to OG.
